The United Alliance party plans to boost tourism in Montserrat by establishing mooring buoys and upgrading sports facilities. We will install mooring buoys at popular snorkeling and diving sites to protect coral reefs from anchor damage. Upgraded sports facilities like basketball courts, tennis courts, and baseball fields will attract sports tournaments and athletes.

We will in the short term ensure that the basic issues impacting access to the island are resolved using local expertise available to us. We will through the MDC or its replacement seek to have private sector partners be part of the solution. Airfares will be set for each 12 months at affordable prices.
To create and implement a strategy and roadmap for the sustainable development of Montserrat in which all people will have the opportunity to live wholesome productive lives based on principles of universal love, respect, empathy, equity, self reliance and creativity.
